The 5th annual Carolina BBQ Festival returns to Uptown Charlotte on April 17–18, 2026, at Victoria Yards and the adjacent parking lot. Featuring 30+ pitmasters and chefs from the Carolinas and beyond, the festival celebrates the tradition of whole hog BBQ while supporting Operation BBQ Relief, in partnership with Charlotte Shout.

Friday, April 17 – The Kickoff: Enjoy tastings from 5+ local Charlotte BBQ spots, live music and a DJ, plus the chance to see the pits being set up for festival day.

Saturday, April 18 – The Festival: Experience the full festival with tasting plates from 25 pitmaster stations, featuring whole hog, brisket, chicken, hash and rice, seafood, and more, along with local vendors, sponsor activations, and an on-site brick pit honoring whole hog cooking heritage. Beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase.
